She didn't say anything about the tender

by BruceK » 18 Jul 2016, 08:56

So the last few weeks I have been forbidden by Admiral to take the boat out on account of my convalescing from my heart attack and refused to come out to the boat with me. Quite frankly it's been great being alone on the boat. The peace is superb. Any way woke up on Sunday and a plan dawned on me. I'd take the tender 5 miles up river to Tl-y-Cafn instead at high water and drift down with a picnic hamper and a bit of smug bastid.

It didn't all go my way. I haven't got full strength back and dropped the tender outboard into the river trying to get it back on the boat. C'est la vie. What a great day nonetheless

Hey man, you take care there. I've read that boats are great for heart problems, very relaxing and calming. The admiral should take note.
