It's arrived..... I think

by Bigplumbs » 07 Jul 2016, 06:37

Sitting here on holiday I bought a new tender from Amazon a 3.2 m Jago.

While on my balcony in Skiathos I was having a look at my CCTV system at home via the net ( a cheap one from ebay) and I can see 2 large boxes against my wall my thinks it might have arrived. Tracking info also confirms this

To actually see it all these miles away is quite odd. Also managed to get this pic from the system onto my ipad. Clever this tech and very cheap

Strange shaped box though for a Sib

It was indeed my new boat. Now got it together and very pleased. It is a Jago 3.2 m. Here it is against my Waveco 2.6.

Differences generally are:

Wavco:
2.6 m
Slatted floor
37 cm tubes
Single seat
2 people rearly
Cost £ 320

Jago
3.2 m
Inflatable keel with Ali floor
42 cm tubes
Double seat
Weight about 18kg more
3 People
Should keep drier
Cost £420

I will fit some nice pneumatic flip down wheels to the Jago

Generall although

I am just hoping it is not too big/heavy. I will find out on my first outing

I thought you were going to trailer it down to your mooring then use it to get out to the boat?

I am but it still has to be manhandled off the trailer and towed to the little slip and back again. I am sure it will be fine

Can you not remove the wheels off the old (smaller) one and fit?

I have fitted far better wheels to the new one. The little wheels on the smaller one dug in in the gravel. The new one has proper wheels
