Weekends looking good............

We are at a wedding, but South coast weather is looking good.

South West to Southerly winds in the morning - 7 - 10 mph gusting to 18 mph. Later South East 10 mph. Sunny...

it would be- back at work and too many jobs to do after 2 weeks away in the cloud rain and wind of summer July.

Clouds, what little there are of them, are moving from the NW this morning.

Oh and does anyone know what this blue stuff is? I'm looking through my study window and the clouds disappeared and left this blue stuff, is it safe?

Blue skies up in N Wales but quite windy. We start the Conwy River Festival tomorrow

We're planning another weekend afloat, this will be the third on the trot. With the weather forecast we're hoping to have our first weekend at anchor in this boat.

We've done plenty of pontoon and buoy overnights, but the first at anchor will be special!

I made the most of it today. Weather was brilliant, a little over cast to begin with but I went with the forecast and they got it spot on, mid 20's, a nice SW of which at most was about 10mph.
Sea state was not far off as good as it gets on a busy day in the solent too!
A cracking day.






We even decided to stay and give the bottom a scrub while the water was elsewhere..




To be fair, the sand bank has shifted from last year. First time I've been there this year and it now no longer leaves the channel between the bank and beach. Oh well, lesson learnt for this year. Hulls nice and shiny again though.

We were out Saturday , Had a great run to Yarmouth for lunch, 40 knots all the way there, boat ran like a dream,

We just made Yarmouth before they started to queue for spaces. Meal in the George
