Hi Ian

The area is called Barton Court. New Milton is the nearest town. It's almost bang on mid Lymington and Christchurch.

The second photo has the Isle of Wight in the background. A bit misty but you can just make out The Needless. :D

I hope that is not your front garden as I was reading an article the other day that suggests it is disappearing at between 1 metre and 3 metres per year at the moment

Nice area, we will have to catch up when we are down there.

Very nice Ian. The only problem I find with living so close to the sea is that DIY is very easily replaced by boating & fishing! Much to SWMBO disgust. :D

Very nice Ian, hope all went well with the move and so on.
The one downside, with a view like that, your not going to get anything done!!

Hi everyone

Thank you for your very kind words and a cheeky one from Betty. :D

It is actually the view from the end of the Avenue 400 metres from the house, so my vivid imagination is calling it my front garden.

The cliff erosion is a bit of a strange problem. Highcliffe Castle disappeared some time ago as did Barton Court. However The Pebble Beach restaurant is hanging in there. With the beach defence plans and some thought the council have slowed it quite considerably. If it is only 1m a year we'll have sea front in about 400yrs. ha ha.

Very misty still and a bit damp but I'll get some more pictures soon.

Well done Ian, I know the year as we looked at houses in and around Everton a few years ago just after acquiring the boat, obviously it didn't work out  Definitely a good choice to on move anywhere nearer the south coast.
