More Sunshine and Showers

by Bigplumbs » 30 Apr 2016, 19:23

Like others have said. You go out in nice sunshine and then a big black cloud appears on the horizon and the heavens open. Still we go out in the GTS.

One of the pics below is of her indoors enjoying the sun and the other is where she went when the hail and rain came.

Got 31.4 knots out of her with the two of us and quite a lot of gear on board. I still need to get used to the trim so could probably get about 33 knots if I was lucky.

Come on Better weather I say

The GTS seems to be doing all the things you have asked of it, a sports boat and a comfy cabin for Mrs Bigplumbs. :D

Hello Chris.

The ensign was a cheap quite light one I got from Ebay a couple of years ago. It does indeed attach to the light which is quite strong. I fixed it with cable ties through eyelets that I put in and made solid with epoxy

This is the one 900 x 600 only £4.99

I just bought another one

I got the idea of NicktheGreek
