Wooo Hoo :D The season is nearly here. I'm chomping on the bit and keep looking out the window..... like the weather is going to improve by the hour Image

Bruce. Is your boat out of the water. If so when do you usually put her in. I am thinking Start of May for mine

Hi Dennis. No I am permanently in the water. I do lift outs for drive and AF maintenance or drywall for other work. My first cruising trip is over the easter weekend in March for 3 nights. We are not limited by temps with onboard heating, genny etc. Just the sea state and that normally gets very good here late March through April. May is wayyy to late. By then we will have clocked up at least 10 cruising days outside of port and more day trips. Your local waters may be different though. We get a hiatus beginning summer when the the temps are great but the wind and sea is awful.

Agree 100% with Bruce - the best of the season is usually early on! We've seen some great days down here already - unfortunately all when I've been working, but that's another story... :)

Bruce and Rob thanks for the advice. I think I might revise my plop in date to beginning of April. Remember I will be on a swinging mooring on the Deben
