That is a toy inflatable and I would strongly advise against it.

No it isn't it is very strong. Look at You tube. It is not a main tender it is just for very short hops to the beech etc.

Worry not

What you are buying and what they are showing are two different things curtesy of China

What you are buying is a toy. Here Amazon clearly has it as a toy:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intex-68349NP-S ... B000S6INF0

What you are seeing on youtube is a low budget inflatable and considerably more dollars, $ 220 to be exact here:

http://www.aliexpress.com/intex-seahawk-3_reviews.html

You said you wanted to put your kids / grandkids? in it. Well be warned, it's a toy

I am not sure where you think I said I was going to put my kids/grandkids in it as this would be impossible as I have not got either. I think you are thinking of someone else. I also feel you have completely missed the point of what I want this for but no matter

Just took the Seahawk 3 out of the box and I am very very impressed. The material is far thicker than I thought it would be and it is a very good size and very well made.

I have a waveco 2.6 as my main tender with a 3hp yam on it. I am even wondering if this could (with an electric motor on it) take the place of that.

Either way I think this is a very good boat to have on board.

You have to see one to see the quality and thickness of the material. Folds up nice and small as well

Well we pumped it all up...... Took about 15 mins with a not so good pump. I have a better one but I put it somewhere safe and it is so safe I cant find it.

Once pumped up you have to sit in it. I am glad I did not get the 4 man as this is 3 man is big enough. I honestly think if you are sensible this is very much a viable option for the purpose I wanted it.

The canoe would have been good but I am not small and her indoors said she aint getting in one of those with me in it. She said a certain picture sprung to mind as shown below

Thought I would blow up the Waveco tender to clean it and work out a few things. This will be the boat we will use to get to the swinging mooring.

It took 350 pumps and 10 mins to blow it up with the supplied foot pump which is very good and it was actually quite easy. I think I will get a second pump so that we can both pump at the same time (No rude quips please :)) and also provide some redundancy if the pump were to fail.

I am kind of thinking that we will blow it up each time rather than go for the trailer idea
