Boat Engines etc - Maintenance and Repair

Mercruiser 4.3L Engine mounts

by tonni » 06 Mar 2025, 07:13

That must have been quite a challenge! It’s frustrating when finding the right parts turns into a complicated process, especially with marine components often being overpriced without the durability they should have. Coating the mounts with epoxy and spraying them black was a smart way to add extra protection. It’s great that the bolts are moving without too much trouble hopefully, the installation goes smoothly. Looking forward to hearing how the replacement goes!

Thanks tonni and welcome to the forum.

Yes it all went very well in the end and has turned out fine, thank goodness.

It would be interesting for you to post about your boating.

Take care
