Reintroduction

Hi Keith,

A very warm welcome back to you and thank you for posting pictures of your S24.

I used to love your videos and pictures of your adventures in your Rib, I wonder if you feel up to doing the same in your S24 this year?

Look forward to hearing more from you.

Always my best
Ianfs

Very true Bruce, weather and fixed holidays will necessitate a certain itinerary or route. But is that not planning, ok you may not have committed things to paper but experience and knowledge have pointed you in the right direction and you know what needs looking up or confirming from charts, almanacs etc.
As an example this summer we are planning to head north to the Scottish Isles (we are not tied to dates). So first we look at when we would like to set off, then we look at the weather around that time , if all is good we go to the nicest harbour or one we would like to visit. If not we look at were the weather will let us go and plan accordingly. All I put down on paper are the essential bits I may forget, tides, tidal gates, important nav aids/hazards etc.

Ianfs, I will try but my photos /vids usually rely on having one of the Grandchildren with me to work the camera!
Which probably won't happen this year unless one of the older ones drives up to meet up with us.
