I've got a couple, and to be honest, I'm not using them, will post the sizes at the weekend when I get home. Will keep one as a spare but give me an offer on which ever suits you best if at all and we'll go from there. Not got enough room for stuff sitting about gathering dust!!!

Some good tools on line to identify correct prop.

I tried several at right pitch, but different designs ... settled on High five ... may not be super fast ... but best out there for hole shot and low end pull. Tracks really well.

Does anyone have a 19" stainless prop that would fit a Honda 15 spine shaft please?

My new engine is over propped with a 14.5 " x 21" pitch Ali fitted - max revs I can achieve is 5,000 whereas WOT range is 5-6000 rpm.

Currently giving 30kts on a boat weighing around 1650kg:-

1050 kg Hull
230 kg outboard
3 people @ 70kg (ish!) 210 kg
Fuel 135 litres 110 kg
Anchor bits and bobs 50kg

I punched these figures into a prop calculator and it came up with something like 36%?

Any pointers that forumites can give will be welcome - I have lots of props from previous engine and don't (can't) want to repeat that exercise!!

I don't care about hole shot - I am looking for cruise/economy (relative term here!!).

PS

Ed I think you said you had a 21" stainless that you might bring to Brixham - if the offer is still there I would like to try this out as well...

Thanks

Nick

I thi8nk 30 knts is about all you will get. I would think that is quite good. Surely the prop that came with the new engine should be correct for it. If not wont Honda do a swap
