- did they score the hull when applying the anti foul? just wondering as I need to remove mine (large lumps are coming off anyway) but cant make out if the underneath is scored or if its just painted on gelcoat.

I would guess they sanded the hull to give it a rough surface for the primer paint to stick onto ( grey paint in pictures 2 & 3) then antifoul applied on top.

At least its a decent colour, some I've seen recently should be banned.

As James has said, how could you do it? But then, there are some cheap moorings around. I think its either the Avon or the Stour, Bournemouth Water have some silly cheap river moorings.

Antifouling a sports boat just devalues it. And keeping a sports boat on a mooring just means it gets covered in crud and gets bashed about.

I assume they've decided to move from Saxon on the stack and are moving to a pontoon at Shamrock. Odd decision since the cost is near enough the same.

I also wouldn't keep the camper cover on for a long period as it leaks a bit. Better to use the tonneau cover which is tough as old boots.

If they can get a fairways swinging mooring it is very good value but you have to antifoul. I just got mine for this year at £90 for the full year. Then a tender and bobs your auntie

My boat had already been antifouled so no biggie. I would never antifoul my 17 footer though
