first trip out albeit with a difference

by betty boop » 18 Mar 2017, 17:36

Last week we had the pleasure of a trip to Nottinghamshire to meet Gaz again and take deliver of our new toy. Typically the week weather was a lot better than this weekend but hey a guy can only have an unused toy in the shed for so long. So off we went - plucky little Ms BB wouldnt go near it - yet- and I dont blame her as even hardened boatie Ian was terrified. 3 crashes into the bank later and I was again like an old pro.

not the biggest blow up but a great deal - Thanks Gaz, hopefully she'll prove a good play thing when I can afford to use the big toy or just cant be bothered with trailing at short notice.

no laughing  at the size and someone teach me to load pictures.

At least you did manage to get it to float Ian. Not quite sure where you would have put ms BB. Where did you learn to row uphill? I actually had a small inflatable with the S23, brand new, never been in the water RESULT - not quite, it had been stored in a shed for 3 years and a mouse (or mice) chewed through the carry case to nest in there and their tiny sharp teeth have made a few punctures which I shall try to patch when the weather gets a bit warmer. Geoff.

The thing is, the smaller the boat, the faster she moves. and therefore she becomes more difficult to control!, Is that why boats are named after women?
