We spent a fun day yesterday out in, probably an F5, on a pretty choppy Solent having a whale of a time.
I think I've become a bit over cautious in terms of the weather that we go out in. In reality we were perfectly OK out there, just limited to Southampton Water and the Hamble. Nothing to stop us going out though.
OK I wouldn't go round the Island, I might have got to Cowes but at the end of the day a bimble up the Hamble was perfectly acceptable. Not impressed with the price of a pint at the Jolly Sailor though
Seriously thinking about taking the boat off the market for now. The boss feels quite strongly that joka-tu is the boat that we want and who am I to argue
So who's organising the next round the Island trip, whoever it is please plan some better weather this time
Agree with james sometimes you've just got to poke your nose out and have s look at the conditions. Many times I wouldn't have gone out if I went by the forecast but would have missed out on some fun trips.
Glad you enjoyed joka-tu best not to make any rash decisions about selling her just yet!
