As you say, Martin would know or Ed or Matt, but an hour to download and missing files sounds like a broadband/connection issue to me. Try uploading it again during a quieter time.

Also check your broadband speed with a speed checker. :)

Process the video fully before uploading, do not upload raw video. YouTube has some format recommendations. Mpeg4 30 fps and 720 (or less) resolution

Thanks both but I still have no idea about what our resident Guru is saying.

Here's what I have done:

Combined two video clips using Microsoft Video Maker
Added soundtracks and cropped some boring stuff out
Total of 9 mins
Upload to YouTube, which it saved perfectly fine but failed at publishing stage.

Nice, I've never gone beyond the yacht club, something to do with the bar I suspect!

What's it like further up?

Colin, it's beautiful. You have to time it to arrive at the Sloop at high tide because it will dry out completely. Plenty of big boats at the top end though, so clearly it is doable.

So is there a pontoon at the Sloop to tie up to? Sounds like a must do. Do you know how much time you have or is it a grab a quick pint and get out quick job?

There is a concrete wall (so fender up) outside the sloop, with mooring rings. I have no idea how long we could have stayed, I think Andy said his gauge was reading 1.5m at the Sloop but 3-4m all the way up the Creek (at around HW). We just winged it to be fair as I hadn't even considered whether it was doable, as I'd seen boats moored when I went by ferry last year. Andy hadn't been up to the top either, so it was good for him too I guess. Not sure how long you have either side of HW but arrive at the top of the tide, have a beer next to the boat and monitor it I would say. Well worth it.Image
