Alpha One Propeller - Will it fit??

by Ianfs » 28 Jun 2015, 06:09

The first picture is the thrust washer, I thought it may come off with the prop. It sits on the drive shaft which is tapered and goes on first, so you'll have to put it back on the right way round. The other washer is the tab washer and behind that is a continuity washer.
You should also have another washer in which the nut sits and when tight the tabs go into the tab washer.
But like I said, you will need some grease either 2-4-c or 101. For all the parts.
If you need any more help just shout. :)

The locking tab washer is with the nut. ... I'm assuming the thrush washer and the tab washer just prise out ?? do I need any special tools to remove them.

I was just checking add from which you bought the prop to see if there should be a continuity washer and it says there should be a Flo Torq 11 kit with it.

Have another look in the box!

So this prop sounds as if it comes from a good source, consequently it should fit on straight away!

Glad to be of assistance once again. :D
