I agree with everything you've said Mark....and with James, Stu and Martin.

I've tried a Sealine 23 and they are nice to handle. Trouble is, I've now been sent this and I said I would never buy an older boat ever again...yeah right!!

She's a '94 Sunseeker 32, owned by a guy in his 70's who hasn't got anyone to crew with him now. In 2006 he re-engine her with twin Yamaha me 422's 275hp each!

All nice boats but agree with the performance views above. We spend most of our time at 22 - 25 knots with only occasional blast at full chat. Knowing your Admiral Ian I suspect anything over cruise speed will be met with strong disapproval anyway so go for something that can cruise all day at 325 with reasonable economy and you'll be fine. 30 it nice to have and anything over that will be a rarely used indiugence, not to mention an expensive one

I must be such a child, I feel entirely out of place reading these posts haha or its just my work tendencies coming out on the water because I want to go everywhere at 100mph. (lol) The reality is that I do like slow to, but I definitely haven't got go fast out of my system yet.

I never tire of watching this Video. Although Joka Tu was almost new and not run in, he accelerated to 40knts and was overtaking you................but then.

My caption for this video would be...."Oh, I wonder what happens when I push this lever forward!"
