Which Marina/Dry Stack?

by Ianfs » 19 Mar 2015, 09:00

Paul, refresh my memory, which type is your Regal?

From what I've read MDL offer free visitor moorings but Premier Marina's have a nominal charge for visiting their sister Marina's, is that right?

When I was at Saxon Yesterday I noticed how empty the drystack was. Is this because boats go home for the winter or are they all at other MDL marinas.

On a different note I saw a Sealine SC35 being lifted in with the forklift. Can Saxon drystack this type of boat?. Surely this boat must have been empty of fuel & water to lift such a heavy boat.

You're right, that must be fairly close to their limits. The blocks on the back of the trucks is about 12tons, is that right? Mind you the SC35 probably weigh's in at about 7.5 - 8 tons with twin diesels.
