Well that poll topic header went well, not. Oh well you get the drift.

Having spent a fair bit of time around the lochs of west Scotland I can really recommend it. Generally always somewhere to shelter from wind, sea state never really gets too silly because of this and plenty of little ports to visit.
The scenery is amazing as well! I suppose it does depend on how far up you can make though?
( my time has been up around Kyle of lochalsh, Skye, loch long and Oban etc..)

Give it a chance old bean, we've been in the garden most of the day. :D

I voted Wales, I think Scotland and Ireland, may be pushing it a bit in two weeks.

No Ian, I meant that I confused the poll header. First time I've set up a poll and of course one cannot edit a header. Nevermind.

I can get to Portavadie in 2.5 days. From there take the Crinan Canal and explore the lochs

Day 1 Conwy to Peel IOM or Port Patrick if sea state is good. (4 or 6 hours cruise at 20knts)
Day 2 / 2.5 Campbell Town Or Portavadie
