Looks very nice. Having done the canal boat thing do you get bashed about much in the locks?

Oy, I'll have you know I'm very good at steering 30 tons of narrow boat (or whatever they weigh). It's everyone else that's the problem :lol:


If you want to see lock carnage watch Hythe Marina lock at the end of the day :shock:

When going up we try to keep to the back . The turbulence isn't too bad but ropes on bow and stern are required. I guess we are used to it ... a little bouncing is all part of the fun.
As on the canals some locks on the Trent are more fierce than others.

oh yes I remember being in there about 9 years ago, 1st or 2nd year with Betty, wasnt something I wanted to experiance twice.
