Dartmouth and Darthaven Marina

Popped into Dartmouth today what a great place, both town and harbour. Then across the ferry and popped it to see Torbay Rob/RB Coomer. What a great place to work if you love boats.

Still haven't worked out why it does that. It's a mobile shot landscape which posts it upside down.

The phone held upside down? Maybe you're a happy drunk and had too many beers while hanging off the back of the transom telling the helmsman how much you loved him and everyone else within earshot when you took them?

So just to make your day everyone, that's where Torbay Rob works, over there at the Marina. Gosh, imagine that outlook everyday, well from the other side actually, oh, and you might just have to play with a few boats, similar to xboatboyx , he's got similar job, hmm lucky buggers.

It is a great location Ian, but rest assured we don't get much time to admire the view! It's full-on and very intensive - Chris and I have processed over 5250 works instructions since I started in February... Each job can involve estimate through to completion and although we don't do much of the invoicing, we process pretty much all of the other processes for lifts, engineering, shipwrights, electricians and sub-contractors (riggers, gas, etc). There's a lot to do all the time All that said, I love it and have learnt loads - we have a great team and some very knowledgeable people. There's always things to improve, but much of it is in process, so can't complain.

The Dart is one of the Gems of the Southwest and as a local lad, I consider myself very lucky to have on my doorstep! (And to work there... )
