A few conversations going on about Kemps Quay and its tidal aspects.
Looks like a great place, I'm guessing that some of the pontoons dry out and the more expensive ones mid river are OK, so similar to Eastlands at the top of the Hamble?

on J pontoon with 1/2 M draft I should have access 2 ish hours either side of low tide

That's about a 5hr window. I did read that if you return at low tide though, you can moor onto a deep water pontoon and they'll put her back for you. Not bad, good service.
