Used my brothers skills.
There was no blanking plate, in fact the ignition switch was there. So we removed that and moved it to the opposite side of the console.
That left a nice hole in the dash to get a jigsaw in.
The radio came with a template, so used that to mark the apex, and then cut the hole with a jigsaw slightly on the small side so the radio is a really nice tight fit.
Those ICOM 323's are nice compact units.
Dead chuffed with the result. My brother is a trained electrician so he used his skills to wire it in.
Antenna we installed on the port side. Forgot to take a picture of that.
Dennis, I will remove the plastic.. Felt the need to keep it on as long as possible
