Very nice and shiny!!
Nearly ready to go, ignoring the painful side of the cost, it must be very satisfying seeing it all come back together.

Thanks Stu, yeah the costs were obviously hard to swallow but the end product of the refit is brilliant......she's probably in better nick inside and out than she has been for many a year...cant wait to start running in props and drives etc......get all our gear back on board for the spring / summer. Ive upped the value on the insurance and told them about all the new machinery and that I have all the paperwork and serial numbers etc......I wouldnt like to have to spend that much again too soon.
Also fitted a large transom anode wired to both inner transom shield bolts, and a Galvanic Isolator so we dont get affected by stray earth currents when we plug in, once again to look after all that money hanging off the back.

No Bruce, it's very bad for the constitution, you know better than that!

Dave...
There's a line from the film Pretty Woman in which Edward Lewis is being asked something by the store manager Mr Hollister, and I imagine you talking to the boatyard in possibly a similar vane .......but the line goes like this..............
Mr Hollister (Boatyard Manager)...
"Just how obscene amount of cash are we talking about here, Profane or Really Offensive"?
Mr Lewis...
"Really Offensive"
Mr Hollister...
"I Like this man"
Now that you have been "Really Offensive" with your very pretty woman (she is a lovely looking boat) and never call a woman old, you must be very relaxed but eager to be on the go for the season.

Out of interest, and my knowledge on this is near non existent, hence the question..
How come you stuck with an Alpha leg opposed to going for a duo prop of some sort?
My understanding is you get better economy from duo's, is that correct or is it just down to a price tag thing.
I've always noticed that the bigger boats with outdrives all have duo but more commonly now the smaller ones do also?
