I guess its winter Time when historically there is not much going on.

Keep looking out for next boat as boatless since August 2020.
not missed it much this year as with poor weatherand other things I wouldnot have been able to get out that much.

Can not believe the price of Secondhand boats at the moment, I know we do not know what they actually selling for but what was £70-£80K in 2019 is not £110K and above for the same boat, crazy times for secondhand boat prices

As said the boat forums go quiet in the winter . Not sure why really as my interest is all year round even if the boating isn't.

I try to use the winter to get some jobs done. Changed engine oil last week and did a little exterior cleaning yesterday while the sun was out.
I have been using a twist mop over last season - surprised me how good it is for cleaning the decks and the handle retracts for easy storage. A useful tool to have on the boat.


High boat prices see to be ongoing but that only benefits the brokers or people who are selling but not buying.

Day lengths now starting to be noticeably increasing. It will soon be spring

I'm still checking in now and then - been a difficult last few months...but hey ho, have a new job and took the old Bonwicto up to Ynyslas last week in the hope of getting out soon.
