Hi Dennis

Not such a daft question dear boy, if you don't know the area how are you supposed to know.

Ocean Village is an MDL marina just round the corner from the show, right on the mouth of the Itchen, within walking distance of the show.

Has it got a slipway where I could launch my little rib ?

No slipway at ocean village, the nearest is probably the public slipway immediately upstream of the itchen road bridge. Hythe marina slip is also fairly close but you are straight into boating with the very big boys if you launch off there (cruise liners, car carriers and LPG tankers)
