I didn't move forward with this last year.
Thinking it's time I did .... use is simply not happening.

Couple of Q's .... how easy was a fixed price listing on eBay

Facebook mentioned ... how/where do you list a boat ? or is this on MarketPlace.

I did contact dealer I bought it from and they have cross listed it on NWYB who also put in on Applollo Duck https://sportboats.apolloduck.co.uk/boa ... ale/741819

I would tweak that add a bit, but the biggest unknown is what to list it for, I know ther is no 'Glass Guide' for boats, is there any guide on value on-line ?

The 65k price is too high, I think they just took the 89k of a new online and applied a % reduction.

Welcome any suggestions or advice.

From what I hear talking to various brokers there is little movement on lower priced boats at present,

I have heard of big price reductions to just off load the boat but still no takers.

I know of 1 that has dropped by £45K to £85K but still no interest.

This end of boating is getting out of reach of a lot more people than it used to.

Sorry for doom and gloom, but all the best for sale.

Not sure it's out of reach so much as folks are less and less able to do their own maintenance. Buying a boat is all very well but if you have to pay labour to fix every fault it will soon become very expensive.
I started with motorbikes then old cars that were easy to service . But with folks who started with 1990's cars I do get they are harder to work on on a DIY basis. So the idea of transferring car maintenance skills to boat maintenance simply is not there. My sons in laws near age 40 have never used a spanner on a vehicle and have no intention of doing so.

The other factor is motorboats with diesel engines are hardly good for the planet and diesel is being abandoned as a fuel for cars . So the dislike of diesel and the wish for lower emissions transfers to boats.

Then there is the disastrous state of the country as a whole but lets not get political.

I have seen a boat I would like to upgrade to but it does seem way too expensive so perhaps i will stick with the boat I have ,
