Avocet 17

Hi I am new to boating and your forum so hopefully I am doing this right!!

I am looking to buy my first motor boat for river and possible sea cruising/ fishing - we have always hired before. I am looking at an Avocet 17 which seams to fit all my needs but I can't find any reviews anywhere for it. Can anyone give me any feedback/ thoughts please. Good or bad very welcome. Welcome to the forum Richard.
Unfortunately I know nothing of them, they do look spot in for what your planning though. I'd imagine as always, the most important thing to look out for will be the condition of the engine!
I'm sure someone will be along shortly with more info.

A very warm welcome to the forum.

I know very little about the Avocet, except that it is a very good fisher and solid when on the plane.

I think it has been researched previously and they were built in Essex but the factory had a fire and the moulds were saved, but that's about it I'm afraid.
