Winterise? Na! Boat all year round.

by NikTheGeek » 30 Nov 2014, 19:58

Just had a lovely day out on the River Dee in Chester. Just me and my youngest. Left the wife and son at home cleaning, tidying and Christmas shopping. I was the only boat out on the water...

Never winterised a boat in m'life....... as well as training its ski-ing diving etc in summer and cod fishing in the winter. However with the demise of the fish stocks and cos the new E-Tec does it all automatically if you ask it nicely, I did winterise last month. Mistake!!! its been out on a training course and a (successful) cod fishing trip since then. May go fishing again when the tide gets right. However its FX a high of 2 degrees on the appointed day so with a bit of luck I'll oversleep and miss it!
