Fuel consumption

by argonaut » 21 Oct 2020, 10:31

Hi .... going to winterize my Volvo 4.3L V6 280-C

Volvo service details require that I need to run a 2-stroke mix through it at 1500 rpm for 15 minutes.

Does anybody have an idea of how much fuel that is likely to be ? ........ I will need to source a fuel tank and mix the fuel .... don't want to prepare more than is needed as no other use for 2-stroke.

Haven't got a clue, but is there any way in which to connect an external tank to the fuel line between the fuel filter and the tank?

Had the figure from US, it’s just under a US gal.
So pulling fuel feed off fuel pump, connect up a length of hose and stick in a 5L container and I’m sorted.
