I'm hoping to head down however, and unfortunately with what we've had so far this year it's a big however... It will be weather dependant.
We were thinking of headin down on Wednesday and stop off at Yarmouth, watch the display on Thursday, either head back to lymington or Poole on Thursday night then home Friday.
But, it's a fairly long journey, hence breaking it up with a couple of over nights, so if the weather - meaning wind, is too strong I think that will cancel it.
At the moment it's looking about 11 mph southerly winds, which may be ok.
I'm going to keep an eye and make a decision on Tuesday either way.
Fingers are crossed as we went down last year and watched from the beach and it was great, I was seriously envious of all the boats at anchor watching! ( and it was flat calm!!!)
8-)

I'll be there Sunday on my mate's fishing boat. Probably moored just East of Boscombe pier.

I've just seen that the Vulcan will be flying on Sunday!! I've been trying to get to see that for years but never managed it, apparently it is something else!
I can't make it on the boat over the weekend but just might have another wonder down in the car just to see that, I've heard it won't be flying for that much longer so might put the effort in.

It is the Vulcan Echo Hotel 558's last season of flying ever this year.

The Vulcan is amazing but the whole show is a blast.

A few pics from a couple of years ago

The Eurofighter is probably the loudest thing I've ever heard. It was right at the end, we were packing up when it came over, out of nowhere, flat out. Scared the **** out of me.

The Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane group were fantastic. What a sound.

I've booked into Davis Boatyard next to Cobbs for the longer weekend - only yesterdays weather will put us off going, as this could be a 3 day boating year

Well would you believe it.. Im currently camping in the New Forest and guess what just flew over..
The Vulcan itself, at about a 1000 ft, the picture is poor but it was all that I could manage before it disappeared as quick as it appeared.
It really did look amazing, so graceful and elegant!!

And it was designed to carry the Nuclear bomb called The Blue Danube, with a yield of 16,000 tonnes of conventional high explosive!! :o

We are aiming to go on the Saturday, we have been for the past 2 years and the weather has been fantastic and the sea flat (particularly 2014)

Last year we did I day on foot and 1 on boat and the general opinion was the boat was by far the best place to watch, The promenade was absolutely rammed.

Just hoping for the right weather now.
