The Hut, Colwell Bay

Anyone every been? Any good?

Overheard some people at the Dry Stack talking about it. Apparently you can anchor in the bay and they'll come and pick you up in their tender! Sounds great... going to have to try and get there sometime... even if just for the novelty factor, although it looks quite nice (if a bit pricey).

Not done that one. We occasionally anchor in either Totland or Alum bays.

A lif ashore to the pub looks like a plan. Do let us know how you get on.

love the place !! we always buy a bucket of beer in ice ,, yes pricey but nowhere quite like it on a sunny day, most areas set aside for food but still wonderful and a great little holiday camp bar further up with great cheap food if the hut is fully booked, taxi tender is free but we always tip well as dont spend all our time and money in the hut

Brilliant post Anna.

It got me Googling, seems like a great place to visit. It does seem a tad on the expensive side for visitors who may just want something light, they do make burgers for a fiver but they are takeaway only.

I wonder where they beach the tender?
