Some of the places you have mentioned are exceptional and most of them I have been to already.

I've been to this area many times however the special place I am being taken to is somewhere I have wanted to go for a long time but other exciting trips have taken president.

I am a keen sea fisherman, when I get the time, which as I seem to get older is less and less. I have a food hero, someone I have met once who, when you meet him is just as he is on the TV.

Some sea fishermen don't eat what they catch, but I do and I could live off sea food for the rest of my life and that includes foraging.

This should have given it away.

Hey, y'know that's not a bad guess in the scheme of things and I have to say if there were another foody in the race he is another after my own mind.

However he would come a decent second.

One of "THE" most beautiful area's on planet Earth, not necessarily the town but the area.

However, the place at which I have wanted to eat for a long time and Laura booked a table last year, is Rick Steins. I've been looking at the menu all night and chosen my meal already, we eat there on Wednesday !

She has booked a delightful hotel a few minutes from Padstow overlooking the sea.

Can't wait.

I ought to also explain that our daughter is getting married next week, great timing eh? The bank of mum and dad is a little strained right now but hey ho, "You only live twice..........or so they say!"

What I would say though is we have eaten sea food in America, Australia, Europe and Asia, but it has never been so outstanding that it has blown away the UK. "Bon appetite Ricky"
