Howard's Way Challenge

by mark101 » 29 May 2015, 16:36

Here we go.

In my Howard's Way obsession, I am watching the entire series again (4th time) and I am trying to locate certain locations for filming.

So far, we have found:

Jolly Sailor (obviously)
Elephant Boatyard (Mermaid)
Urquarts Residence
Leisure Cruise
Ken Masters chandlery
Jack Rolfes cottage

Now looking for:

The Howard's residence
Highgrove
Charles Friere residence
Relton marine

Any of you locals got the knowledge?

Relton marine - This is Berthon Boatyard in Lymington as you can see the ferries in the background in some shots.

Most, if not all of the MDL marinas on the hamble were used and also Hythe marina village and Ocean Village

The Howards house is in burlesdon village and a house in hamble high street (the cobbled street) was a shop in the programme

Yes!

I'm afraid I can't remember what the reference to Highgrove was. Highgrove House is the residence of Charles and Camilla in Gloucestershire. There is another Highgrove House in Ruislip, Middlesex, but that's about it from me! :)

Sir Edward Friere's place. It might be Highfield come to think of it.
