Sorry Martin, I read your e-mail but got involved with something else. I'll be looking into it.

This new forum has a format which automatically supports mobiles. We'll see what Tapatalk looks like. :)

Looks a bit complicated. Maybe later when we're a bit more familiar with this release of phpbb.

No problem. I use it on two forums I run and whilst both forums have a mobile format, Tapatalk is a much thinner protocol so operates over 2G/3G and also supports push notifications and personal message alerts.

Its actually quite straight forward to install, the instructions make it look more complex than it is.

It was only when I broke it a while back that I found out how many users were using it despite having smartphones with browsers.

I'm going to look at it tomorrow, I like the idea, but as I said, we'll see once I've had a good look at it.
