Wanted, 21" stainless prop RH rotation mercruiser

by Gazjen » 17 May 2016, 01:02

Does anyone have a 21" stainless prop they'd like to part with? To fit alpha/bravo 1 Mercruiser
Thanks

Funnily enough, I'm having serious issues at the moment and I'm hoping its down to the prop (but I'm not convinced)
I'm pretty sure, I have a 21 on the boat at the moment, just went to the garage to check if I had another spare but..
19 / 14
19 / 15 and
19 high five.
Will let you know if I see one for a sensible price.
What size diameter are you after?

A thought occurred to me about your flat out revs Stu. A 21 pitch prop on a 2 ton boat with 240hp could be a tad ambitious.

Why don't you try that 19" High Five just to see whether there's any difference?

Thanks everyone. He's gone and brought a new one now so no longer required

I can probably get my hands on a 21" high five to try if you'd like? Are you going to the Brixham rally?

Thanks for the offer Gaz, not going to the rally no.
As soon as I get the chance, I'm going to go out and try all 4 props one after another and see what results I get.
I still get a sneaky suspicion that it's not the prop but a fuel problem, poss pump or strainer in tank maybe..
Will update when I've had a chance to go play..
