There was a tv channel a little while ago with Tom Cunliffe called Boatyard. Wouldn't it be good if we could convince a film crew to film your projects? :D

Lovely thought Ian, but my progress is far too slow. I will be going down to the pointed end to collect the boat after Easter monday as I do not want to get involved with too much traffic. Geoff.

Oh dear Geoff - you know there is therapy available for compulsory Ebay shopping  and do I dare mention to the group your other new projects - 3 camper van conversions is it? :o :D

Good luck with the drive down - if you need a spare pair of hands let me know, Sorry I haven't popped over to see your new camper projects yet, been working 5 days a week and the extra money cant be refused whilst it lasts.

Thanks Ian (BB), I had no intention of mentioning the campervan projects here. Bad enough to admit to a fleet of boats on wheel, legs. blocks tyres or anything other than water without throwing the campers into the mix!!! Thanks for your offers of help, I fully understand that your priorities have to be devoted to earning as much as you can at the moment - make hay while (if and when) the sun shines and then spend it on your boat. Geoff.

Not me Ian (BB), my car and trailer will not quite manage that, and anyway that would not be suitable for me until the furniture is mouldy and the engines totally verfranzed and in any case by that time I shall be 115 years old and my interest in boats may have diminished a little. Geoff.

Mistral update. I found an as new small hip bath on the bay, and have been messing about trying to fit it in. I have removed the separating wall between the washroom/wardrobe and with the extra 350mm have managed to fit the hip bath in by relocating the Jabsco toilet and replacing it with a porta potty. Will post some pics when I get the chance. Geoff
