Too many projects - not enough time!!!

Hi Ian, I have already replied to your cover post, but if you did want to consider some form of cover/deck barter, the cover would be quite a lot more expensive than the deck - I am telling you that in case it convinces you that you may indeed want to give the matter further thought!!! I have now fitted two vertical rails from the hardtop down to the top of the coamings which define the W/H rear and will support the transverse partition. I have use Bimini swivels to fix the rails and when in the "open" configuration they lay down flat above the coaming and rest in another swivel. Geoff.

I made a small oval carbon fibre panel to house four Mercury instruments(speedo, revs, trim, volts) a boat nd fitted it to the dashboard. I cannot post any pics yet as I have now taken the boat away to have the covers fitted. Will post some pics on its return. Geoff.

Just a quick update. Wheel house furniture and vee berth cushions now made and placed in position. As the helm unit (Baystar) is hydraulic (not the original intention) it protrudes out a bit more than planned, so I have decided to move the helm up and forward to regain a few more inches WH space. I have made a pod pattern and mould to house the helm unit in its new position and hope to get this fitted in the next couple of days. Geoff.

Thanks for your nice comments Ian(BB). Plenty of vans about, so don't give up. We started to prime paint our camper furniture today. Geoff. I also refitted the boat dashboard with the changes to the helm. I have gained 100mm in length and the higher wheel position is also far nicer, but I shall have to find a new position for the compass. Geoff.

we need to be carefull Geoff we may turn this into camper banter forum. I think I, having a midlife crisis as I keep wanting to buy a decommissioned ambulances on ebay, just missed a 61 plate P boxer for £2500. great deals the only problem is the 450k miles over 8 years oh and the 4 ton loading of bespoke conversion kit .

Off topic just a little, but check out this YouTube channel, there's someone on there you may know. :D

It's parked on our drive right now and being converted. We've done loads of research and screwed up a few times already but got the work arounds done.

Nowhere near as professional as Geoff's build though, that boat looks stunning.
