That looks really nice!! 8-)
I really want to do some river cruising on mine but never seem to get round to it.
I almost talked myself into getting into the Thames at the start of this season before she went back into the water but I think it was all the unknowns that stopped me.
I may do some research this winter of slipways, parking mooring etc and try and do it in the spring for a long weekend.
That really does look lovely, bet it's super relaxing??

Yes............ cruising the river is very relaxing .
There is no speed restriction on the R Trent below Gainsborough. Otherwise the speed limit is 6mph upstream and 8mph downstream.
There are some water ski zones . I believe you have to be in the appropriate club . We are not permitted to go fast even in the ski zones.

If you need any info on slipways and marinas give us a shout as the Thames is our home cruising ground.

Thanks James, i may take you up on that. I might make a journey up to have a look around and see what is what first hand. Maybe a chat over a coffee so i can pick at your local knowledge.. :?:

Yes no problem. I think the difficult decision is where you want to be based as with the speed limit you won't be able to go very far i.e Wargrave to Marlow and back will take a day. I would recommend going on the Thames late June/July and base yourself near Henley leaving the boat in the water for two weeks.

As you can see from the videos its a great atmosphere with the boats all rafted up in the middle of the river.
