Newark Town Lock - open days

by MartynG » 04 Nov 2015, 07:59

The section or river between the weir and the lock is drained down to allow work on masonry and work to the lock gates . There are open days on Saturday and Sunday when the public can take a closer look. It might be 20 years before they drain it again .

This would be amazing to see, wish I could make it.

The Trent has to be one of the most famous course fishing rivers in the world. What a great place to be. :)
