John Boyle bringing his Sealine home from Europe

by Ianfs » 30 Oct 2015, 19:21

You've got to admire this guy. He's not the best Sailor/Navigator in the world, but neither was Nelson. He just seems to get on with it and makes some mistakes along the way....I can relate to that. :)

I expect he got a little sponsorship from the Magazine and Knox Johnson Marina's/Insurance, but hey, if they are willing. :D

Princess V39. His old boat was a Sealine S34 which he took round Britain.

Yes you're right James, I posted one of his earlier videos which was in the Sealine 34. Shark Bay is now for sale at a reduced price of £65,000. He circumnavigated the UK on his first cruise, then did one which he called a Celtic Cruise.

Amazing! :)

Interesting videos. I would be interested to know how much he spent on fuel for that trip

Been following his videos from the start. Really enjoyed the UK ones. Slightly disappointed with the latest 3 parter though.

Wonder how consumption compares to his S34. Think he hinted on one video the v39 seemed quite thirsty. Lovely boat.

I agree, great videos, a little jealous though :?
That's the way to spend your life for sure.
Fuel usage would certainly be interesting to know, a little scary at the same time I'd imagine!
