Launched early yesterday .. on a day I would have normally called off .... it was breezy, fair swell & chop ......... however for a change this was not about watersports ..
The Wales Intl. Air Show was on over Swansea Bay.

So took out Argo2 and anchored right under the show ... opening act was a bit special the Vulcan bomber - in its last ever year flying ....

short clip .... a tad shaky due to wind & chop.

Great videos! Both amazing planes.
I've only ever seen the Typhoon - what a noise!
I didn't realise it was the Vulcan's last year flying, i've always wanted to see it but never managed it, shame as it means i probably won't now. :(
I am planning on the possibility of getting down to the Bournemouth airshow by water - obviously weather dependant.
Would you say it's good to view from the sea?

It was superb view ... for us we were at the epicentre ... all runs & chnages seemed to be centred on us ... even when read arrows come on ... could not have been better placed.
Only bit that was far away was the SeaKing beach rescue

I agree with Ed, getting right under the flight path is the only place to be!
