With twin 400hp outboards .. I could not afford to run it.

Not quite sure who the people are who would buy such a thing. I suspect it would be a good tender to their mother ship.
Therefore they probably don't have to concern themselves about trivial costs such as a few hundred litres of petrol.

Alternatively it may make a good charter day boat at £1000 a day plus fuel.

It's going to be for the super rich, they will use it as a tender for their yacht , to get to the shore or blast around the bay,

A different world to one that most of us know.
