I would imagine that it calculated on the predicted ice melt. Geoff.

The data is recorded and the average taken.
I agree anything less than 1mm is meaningless unless part of an overall trend over many years

Are now that makes sense Geoff and Martyn, it's probably a predictional average over a number of years.
