Nearing the end

by shibbs » 27 Sep 2018, 21:30

It certainly seems to me like this season is drawing in, I’m definitely now thinking about planning to pull mine out for the winter in the near future.
However, I still hold high hopes of a few more outings...
What’s everyone else’s plans, anytime soon?
I’d like to get some use this weekend looking at the weather.
I had such a great start to this season with so much use but at the start of July I got smashed with work commitments so it literally stopped! A real shame as I think weather wise it’s one of the best years for a long time.
How’s everyone else done so far, I’m not ready to give in yet but must be realistic, the temperature is dropping...

Agreed, temperature is dropping but as you say don't give up yet.
We're going to keep the SeaRay going for a bit and see how it goes, we maybe out this weekend.
We're sailing with our neighbour/friend this afternoon for a couple of hours might get over to Newtown creek. He's going to keep it going this winter and wants to do some winter sailing so should be good. :D
