This complete and utter mental machine, which I did a major structural rebuild the transom etc back in 2011, and with a 220hp on the back gave it a genuine 67+mph ability

It was very tatty, with many random old fixings etc, and holes drilled everywhere. First thing was to tidy up the transom area and engine well remove all the old things and fill them in and re-gelcoat the area. I have to say the most horrible stuff ever to work with. anyway it tidied it up a lot, and made repairs to where the skipole mounted onto as that had hit something and smashed the glass around it. Next was an engine. I could have used the 220 of the 170, but to be honest, I wanted something a bit newer and this came up for sale:
Then pretty much nothing happened for a whole year. Work took over, the season begun and so I continued using Wavelength II for the remainder of 2016.
With SWSBR fast approaching for 2017, I decided now was the time to get this done. I paid for the rally and accommodation well in advance and swore to myself that I would either take the 21SS or not go at all. Failure was thus not an option.
So with many many hours of work/rigging and all sorts of stuff I present "Knot Again" my Fletcher Arrowbolt 21SS
The Brixham rally was the first time I've ever had the engine running longer than 5 seconds, and the first time I've ever had it in the water or used any of its newly installed systems. Fortunately I can say that everything worked just fine, and with a few props I had with my I've settled on a 23inch 3 blade s/s which moves it to just shy of 56mph, but WOW what a difference, so much space inside. A storage cuddy upfront and the boat just oozes confidence when out on the water.
Now looking forward to more trips out!
