So when do I fill my tank?

by _Ed_ » 13 Dec 2014, 15:30

Definitely more price drops to come. We will see another 10p off fuel to come I expect. Ok so are many problems with the cheap prices in fuel, however, going to save me a FORTUNE when I fill up the Quantum for the first time.

Yep 116p here ....West Sussex, but more importantly for me, was 132p for diesel, now 119p...

Will Petrol come down to 100p per Gallon???

If so, what would it cost for a day at the coast? :D

Erm, nope. I'd love to think this would be a possibility but er, no. :(
Wish it would again though.
I remember when I started riding bikes, ( only back in 96) it being 50ppl, id be happy with it going back to that!!

I'd like to see it, even if just for a couple of weeks or so.

Would make a lot of difference to trips out on the boat cost wise but, at the end of the day, if we decide to go somewhere we just get on and do it.

wheres all these cheap prices then? Sainsbury in Peterborough are still charging 1.26 for Des and and local garages 129. services at 132.

local london Tescos are a bit cheaper at 125/124 but still not this cheap offering that is being thrown around in the press. (although I did see a local texaco at £119 and near drove lost control in shock

what really P's me off is in Kings lynn theres a new sainsburys opposite a new tesco, two of the biuggest stores Ive seen in the UK, Both undercut or match the pump, last time I was there @ 129 but drive 10/15 miles and Tesco have an other brand new store but they charged 136 as there is no local competition. the fule MUST come from the same supplier in Norfolk/East Anglia so how do they justify charging more? same county both new build etc - Every little counts remember (my a'sre it does).

The prices are creeping back up again!! :(
But to be honest, the hassle it will cause to get the trailer out now just to fill her up, i think i'll just bite bullet on the extra few quid when she goes back in..
Did anyone make the most of the lowest prices??

We missed the lowest because we are "trapped" in the marina by mud. They have been digging out new berths and the mud on the trailer park is ankle deep and getting the boat out woud cover everything in mud. For some reason my valet service thinks this is a unacceptable price to pay.

:D :D :D
The few quid saved on fuel wouldn't even come close to the valet costs ( are both the car and boat white?)
