an you hire boats there or is it cheaper to take your own boat. Also how do you get your boat in the water

We towed our two dive ribs down, it's a sodding long way with a boat in tow I can tell you.. I think it was a total of 14 - 15 hours driving time. Bear in mind that we were spreading the cost over 20 divers.

The marina is great, loads of parking and a good slip. Can't remember the charges but it was a long time ago. We had to apply every day to the local authorities for a dive permit as they were very keen on spreading divers out so that one area did not get over loaded. Also I think to make sure the local clubs got first pickings on the good sites.

Don't know about boat hire but most big marinas have a hire company somewhere around.

I did look at hiring. It's about 2500 euros a week. Plus I am not sure your ICC would be deemed sufficient to be allowed to rent a large engine boat.

14 hours driving is about right Colin. Have been going to south france and Spain for many years with a caravan and now boat so used to it now. Cruised at 70 this year with no problems.

Good slipways down there. The campsite has an excellent concrete slip and storage for trailers.
