Great pictures Mark - looks like it was well worth the trip.

Interesting move to the RIB! A bit too exposed for us I have to admit, but pondering a bigger SIB for next year for rivers and pottering about. We often don't take the Fletcher out due to time shortage and/or tides, so a SIB seems a good compliment as we can roll it up and shove in the car!

Thanks Rob

The RIB was as a consequence of the Bayliner!?

As you all know, my Bayliner rarely worked and when it did, it was quite a faff with a drying mooring etc, putting away loose items etc. I found myself pi55ing about more in my SIB. The SIB was fun, cheap, light and would float on a puddle. So, I thought, use the Bayliner as a hotel and get a slightly (like 3.5m) bigger RIB with a 10-15hp on to muck about on the river. I ended up with the 5.1m and a 90hp, great fun and Bayliner redundant and then sold. That's the transition.....so far
